Sawles Grist Mill
From Vermont, a community history written in 1977; page 201-202
"From 1850-1855 Dover was a trading post and social center for the English seetlers of the area. It had two general stores, one drug store, two blacksmith shops and postal service... Sawle's mill was near Dover and the farmers from Vermont coontinued to have their grain ground there for many years."
Note: although the exact location of Sawle's grist mill is not known, it is likely in or near Section 6 based on the description in the Vermont history.
