DONATING MATERIALS
The Mount Horeb Area Historical Society collects, preserves and makes available to the public, records, documents, personal papers, photographs, media, manuscripts and books that are of enduring importance and tell the story of southwestern Dane county. Southwestern Dane county includes the towns of Blue Mounds, Perry, Primrose, Springdale and Vermont, the Villages of Blue Mounds, Daleyville, Mount Horeb and Mount Vernon, plus neighboring areas.
The Mount Horeb Area Historical Society Archives is always interested in acquiring material. If you have one item or a house full, we would very much like to talk to you. You might be surprised at how valuable a single letter, the family farm's records, a tool or table could be in telling the story of our area. If you have anything you would like to contribute to the to the Driftless Historium Museum and Research Center, contact the MHAHS Executive Director, Destinee K. Udelhoven at 608-437-6486 or our Curator at [email protected].
Thank you for helping to save the heritage of southwestern Dane county.
