Field Trip to the Farm: Meet Inga!
DRIFTLESS HISTORIUM EXCLUSIVE

Picture

Mount Horeb’s Driftless Historium has the itch to travel, and they want to take you along!

Join Director Destinee Udelhoven on a day-trip trek up north on Sunday, May 22, 2022 to visit Inga (of “Around the Farm Table” PBS fame), her family and her beloved cows at their charming Osseo, Wisconsin farmstead and on-site cheesemaking facility, St. Isidore’s Dairy. Along the way, we’ll stop for a guided tour (and scoop of cranberry ice cream) at the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center in Warrens, Wisconsin.

The day also includes lunch at Osseo’s Northwoods Brewpub* before we head for Inga’s place, where we’ll end the day with a slice of famous Norske Nook pie (made just up the road in Osseo) and a side of farm-made cheese with coffee in the country air.

A cranberry stop, brewpub and dairy farm—it’s a quintessentially Wisconsin day!

Space is limited to 20 adventurers at $135.00 each, and includes comfortable bus travel in a Badger Bus mini-coach (with pick-up and drop-off at the Verona Park & Ride on Old PB), admission to and ice cream at the Cranberry Discovery Center, St. Isidore’s Dairy honorarium, and Norske Nook pie.

Bus leaves at 730 a.m., with an estimated return time of 7:00 p.m.

*Lunch and tip is not included in the tour price.

Reserve your spot today by calling 608-437-6486 or email mthorebahs@gmail.com by Friday, May 13. Half down ($67.50 each) required to confirm your reservation, with the remainder due by Saturday, May 14.
NOTE:

*All passengers are required to wear a close-fitting mask (covering nose and mouth) within the confines of the bus.
*To protect the financial investment of the Driftless Historium, no refunds for guest cancellations will be allowed after May 05.
