We have implemented protocol and procedures to better protect the health and safety of all of our Guests, Volunteers (many in the high-risk category) and Staff.

  Safety measures include:
  • All Guests, Staff and Volunteers are encouraged to wear a face covering over the mouth and nose in the Museum at all times. Please help us protect our Volunteers (many in the high risk category)—and YOU!
  • Please use the hand sanitizer available in the Entrance Vestibule before entering the museum. (Use enough to cover both hands; rub together and between fingers for at least 30 seconds, until hands are completely dry.)  We suggest you consider doing the same before leaving.
  • Maintain six feet of distance when you are interacting with someone not in your household.

 Please note:
  • If Guests are not following protocols after a Staff person or Volunteer reminds them, they will be asked to leave the property.
  • Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Those in high-risk groups are encouraged to stay safe and stay home.
  • Under no circumstances should a Member or Guest visit if they are experiencing signs of illness, or have had real or suspected exposure to a COVID-19 infected person within the last 14 days.
  • Museum Volunteers and/or Staff will regularly sanitize frequently touched surfaces.
