Trollway Walking Tours: Small Town Stories & Scandals
July - October 2022, various dates @ 10am

Picture
Explore the colorful characters, charming buildings, town gossip and true tales that populate the colorful history of Mount Horeb, one of Wisconsin’s most enchanting smalltown destinations.

From suspected murders to ghostly encounters and philandering spouses—a trained tour guide brings Mount Horeb’s stories to vivid and engrossing life, as you stroll along the Village’s famous Trollway. (That’s Main Street, for you out-of-towners.)

This narrated walking tour begins and ends at the Mount Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce (300 E Main St). Meet a few minutes before 10:00 a.m.; expect to walk approximately 1 mile on sidewalks and across Village streets over the course of about 1.5 hours. Wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring water to stay hydrated.

Thanks to generous financial support provided by the Mount Horeb Community foundation this is a FREE event. To ensure a better experience, a maximum of 15 reservations per tour will be available.

Available tour dates include:

  • Saturday, July 9
