Address: Vermont Church Rd Years of Active Usage: Notes: "Located on the old Urness farm, just west of the Vermont Lutheran Church and Cemetery". The pioneer cemetery was located under a large oak tree on a hillside across the valley east of the Nels Urness farm home. A six foot high monument with a stone sphere is what remains at this cemetery. There are 10 adults listed including Erik K. Sever, Halsten Gilbertson, Arne Steensrud, Lars Monson on the monument and a statement "and some children." |
