It is a fine and intact example of a Foursquare with a full-facade front porch with paneled rails and triangular pediment, a bracketed cornice board, and shingled triangular dormers with bargeboards. The property was owned by Mary Schaeffer from 1895 until 1903, by Lizzie Schaefer in 1904, by John Stavic in 1905, by August Kably in 1906, by Matt Lynch from 1907 until at least 1910, by John Steyer from at least 1915 until his death circa 1945, by his estate until at least 1955, by Iolet Steyer from at least 1960 until at least 1980, by Elaine and Lowell Moehlman in 1985, and by Steven and Marlene Moehlman in 1966 (Village of Mount Horeb Tax Rolls).
