102 South Blue Mounds Road
This side-gabled vernacular frame house was constructed for Christian Johnson in 1902. The house has a one-story full-facade front porch with brick piers. It was owned by Johnson until 1905, by Herman Swenson from 1906 to 1910, and by Thosten Thompson from 1911 until his death in the late 1920s, and then was a part of his estate in the 1930s. The property was then owned by Thosten Thompson's daughter Geneva Thompson until at least 1960. It was owned by Ambrose and Helen Reimenapp from at least 1965 until at least 1970, by Kendall Gladem in 1975, by Timothy Orr in 1980, and by Richard and Judy Johnson since at least 1985 (Village of Mount Horeb Tax Rolls). The Johnson House is not individually eligible for historic designation. |
405 West Main Street (Conrad Wagner House)
405 West Main Street
This frame Craftsman style home was constructed for Conrad Wagner in 1923 (Village of Mount Horeb Tax Rolls). It has been aluminum sided but retains its original four- and five-over-one sash windows, and the full-facade front porch with Doric columns on brick piers. This property belonged to Conrad Wagner from 1923 until at least 1960, to Tom Wagner from at least 1965 until at least 1970, and to George and Iva Nell Kahl from at least 1975 until at least 1985. In 1996, it was owned by Richardson (Village of Mount Horeb Tax Rolls). The Wagner House is not individually eligible for historic designation. |

This contemporary building was erected for Otto Kahl in 1956 as the A & W Drive-In (Village of Mount Horeb Tax Rolls). It was remodeled circa 1983, creating indoor seating space. Donald Tofte owned the property from 1958 until 1960, Ellsworth Huerth owned it from 1960 until 1974. and it has been owned by A & W of Mount Horeb (Ralph Richardson) since 1974 (Village of Mount Horeb Tax Rolls). The A & W is not eligible for historic designation. |
